By pure coincidence, I had the pleasure of shooting two weddings on back-to-back weekends at one of the most beautiful venues in Milwaukee, the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum. Incredibly however, the two weddings had a completely different feel. The first, which you saw last week here, had a vintage garden feel, while Jill and Ryan's Villa Terrace wedding struck me as more classically modern.
Jill and Ryan are laid back and fun and together they have a darling little boy who they told me they think is "pretty cool." After meeting him on their wedding day, I most certainly agree. He is a darn cool kid with a really sweet disposition and mesmerizing eyes. Their day was filled with whispered jokes by Ryan and lots of smiles and laughter from Jill, as they seemed to do what they always do, just in fancier clothes. Their reception following the ceremony at the Milwaukee Public Market was beautiful and organic, with Jill's personal touch in the all of the details. Family and friends enjoyed fantastic food while listening to great music and achingly funny stories about the two of them. It was, quite simply, a beautiful party for a beautiful couple.
