January and February tend to be long, slow months in so many ways. The cold, dreary days seem to drag on during these long Wisconsin winters and because there are very few families that want to brave the bitter cold for a family photo shoot or brides that want to get married in the dead of winter, this of course happens to be the slowest time for a Wisconsin portrait photographer as well. This winter, 'round here, we've had warmer than usual weather and a whole lot less snow then expected...but still the days seem to be long and slow, as usual and as expected.
However, on January 17, 2012, something exciting happened. My dear friends, Pablo and Sarah welcomed their beautiful baby girl into this world and her arrival was anything but usual and expected and most definitely not slow. I won't divulge all of their personal birth story details but I will just say she came three and half weeks early, before Sarah was able to celebrate her pending arrival at the baby showers that were planned for that weekend. When I finally had the pleasure to meet sweet Natalia, I was in awe of her tiny features and beautiful dark hair. Ella es TAN BONITA. No tengo más palabras. Bienvenidos al mundo, Natalia. Tienes mucha suerte para tener Pablo y Sarah por sus padres. Muchos abrazos y besitos.
